2018: In June, snapdragons were planted for all the Baker Ladies: white for Adeline, Hannah, and Harriet; purple for Phebe Jane. We reset Robert Stanley's veteran marker and flag. Then we tended to the babies. Both babies received yellow marigolds: then pink and blue verbena-- blue for Victor, pink for his unmarked baby sister. Charles' broken stone has been reset but needs epoxy and bracing.

The Baker Island Cemetery was badly in need of attention, with broken and leaning stones; Elisha’s was in 3 pieces, Hannah’s lay face up badly worn by the weather, and Robert Stanley’s granite border was buried.
Albert, Phoebe’s son, was buried in 1949 and had never received a stone.
